The invention discloses a rotatable telephone handset which includes the main section of the telephone and the plane of rotation, the plane of rotation is connected with the main section of the telephone by the pivot axis. The pivot axis includes a core axis which is set in the center of the pivot axis, a fixed section which is fixed on the core axis and is connected with the plane of rotation of the telephone, a rotatable section which is set on the core axis and is fixed to the main section of the telephone, and a restricted section which is set between the fixed section and the rotatable section to restrict the plane of rotation of the telephone to rotate counter-clockwise or clockwise within the 180 degree.
