The device for the fastening of an assembly component on a supporting component of the body of a motor vehicle has at least one threaded plate (2) fitted on the supporting component (1) from the outside and rigidly connectable to it. The threaded plate has an approximately cylindrical threaded section (3) fitting through a hole (4) in the supporting component. The outside diameter (s1) of the cylindrical section is selected smaller than the inside diameter (s2) of the through-hole in such a way that a tolerance compensation is realized between the assembly component and supporting component.
