<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body excellent in transparency and besides in easiness to see by a film viewer. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording body has sequentially a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a coloring agent and a protective layer containing an aqueous resin such as a polyvinyl alcohol on one side of a transparent substrate. An image definition A (based on JIS K 7105-1981) in a slit width of 2mm on the protective layer surface side is 70 to 100% and a haze value of the recording body is 50% or less. Particularly, an image definition B in a slit width of 0.5mm on the protective layer surface side is made 0.2 to 0.9 times as high as the image definition A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
