<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization/drying parallel system attaining high thermal efficiency, being compact, ensuring high versatility and exhibiting high manufacturing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The carbonizing apparatus comprises a screw for laterally conveying, while mixing, a raw material for carbonization put into a hopper, a rotating drum for receiving into the inside thereof the raw material for carbonization fed by the screw and feeding the raw material toward the same direction as the feeding direction of the screw by a blade installed at the inner side face, a carrying out port of the carbonized product arranged at the terminal end position of the rotating drum, and a heat-exchanging waste-heat-recovering apparatus arranged at the neighborhood of the installed position of the screw. The carbonization/drying parallel system comprises the carbonizing apparatus and a drying apparatus similar thereto, which are connected to each other by a pipe for supplying warmed air, recovered by the heat-exchanging waste-heat-recovering apparatus, as a heat source for drying a raw material to be dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
