PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a laboratory capable of stably supporting an experimental instrument with an experimental instrument supporting tool provided with an instrument mounting fixture by stably supporting the instrument mounting fixture. SOLUTION: A holding fixture 1 is used for assembling a vertical rod having a square cross-section and horizontal rods 2 and 3 to form the frame F for the laboratory. A pair of left and right holding plates 4 and 5 have the rear ends thereof integrally connected with each other by a rear face plate 6 to form a fixture main body 1a having a U-shape in plan view. A vertical rod insertion part 11 is formed for vertically inserting the vertical rod 2 between the rear halves of the left and right holding plates 4 and 5 of the main body 1a. Left and right openings 7 and 8 for inserting the horizontal rods 3 to support them are set in the front halves of the plates 4 and 5. The front end faces of the openings 7 and 8 are formed in straight receiving faces 72 and 82 for totally receiving the front ends of the horizontal rods. A bolt 62 is screwed in the rear face plate 6 of the main body 1a for pressing the rear face 22 of the vertical rod 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
