PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC motor that does not cause disturbance of a magnetic circuit and that can prevent the deterioration of cogging torque, by not leaving process distortion on the outside circumference of an outside core that becomes a magnetic circuit. SOLUTION: One or more extended protruding portions 4 are provided on the outside circumference of the outside core 1 of the AC motor. A grounding pin hole 7 and a stake 3 for forming an outside core 1 are arranged inside the extended protruding parts 4. Also, one or more aluminum framed recessed portions 5 that correspond to the outside circumferential shape of the outside core 1 are provided on the inside circumferential part of an aluminum frame 9 that is fitted to the outside core 1. A grounding pin 8 is fitted into the grounding pin hole 7, by fitting the extended protruding portions 4 of the outside core 1 inside the aluminum framed recessed portions 5.
