PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing device capable of removing sterilizing solution in a substantially complete manner even when unevenness such as spouts and straw holes are present on a surface of a web-like packaging material. SOLUTION: The sterilizing device applies sterilizing solution to a surface of a web-like packaging material and removes remaining sterilizing solution therefrom. The packaging material is held by two squeeze rollers so as to remove the remaining sterilizing solution.
