PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate registration of a schedule possible to be shared by each of a plurality of users and to allow each of the users to easily browse schedules of other users.

SOLUTION: A portable telephone unit receives data transmitted in an e-mail data format from portable telephone units of other users (step S21), and determines whether or not the received data is schedule data (step S22). Next, the telephone unit stores the received schedule data (steps S24, S25), moreover re-converts the schedule data transmitted in the e-mail data format into an original data format of the schedule data (steps S26, S27). Then, the telephone unit automatically registers the schedule data in its own schedule book (step S28).
