PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tough and inexpensive electrode material for an electrophoretic device excellent in corrosion resistance, an electrode and the electrophoretic device.

SOLUTION: In this electrophoretic device, the electrode material comprises a carbon fiber-containing plastic or carbon fiber-containing glass and the electrode comprises a molded body made of the electrode material. This electrode is arranged in the electrophoretic device.
