<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring device capable of collecting screen data to be automatically recorded at the proper recording time and also collecting screen data requiring a time trend. <P>SOLUTION: A recording timing control means 20 requests the display of a screen to be recorded to a screen display control means 15 when establishment of a recording timing condition stored in a recording timing information storage part 18 is determined on the basis of a process state. The screen display control means 15 displays on a display device 16 the process state stored in an input point information storage part 13 as a screen with plant monitoring image data stored in a screen information storage part 14, and requests its printing to a hard copy device 19.
