PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact resistant structure capable of sufficiently absorbing impact energy even if thickness of an impact absorbing body used for protection of a built-in device of a portable information communication terminal is reduced. SOLUTION: This invented impact resistant device for the portable information processing terminal absorbs impact energy by buckling deformation of a buckling impact absorbing body. This invented portable information processing terminal as other means absorbs impact energy by deformation of an elastic impact absorbing body in addition to buckling deformation of the buckling impact absorbing body. This invented portable information processing terminal as other means is provided with a buckling impact absorbing body of a sheet metal structure composed of shape memory alloy, the buckled and deformed buckling impact absorbing body can be restored by self-heating caused by energization.
