PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve driveability and safety in a vehicular manual shift mode, by automatically correcting the shift to be suitable for running a forward upward slope, a forward downward slope, or a forward curve, when a driver performs a down-shift operation or an up-shift operation of a continuously variable transmission in the face of the forward upward slope, downward slope, or curve. SOLUTION: In this vehicular transmission, every time the driver operates an operation terminal to be a down-shift side, a transmission ratio of the continuously variable transmission is increased, and every time the driver operates the operation terminal to be an up-shift side, the transmission ratio is of the continuously variable transmission is decreased. Degrees of increase or decrease in the transmission ratio corresponding to the operation of the operation terminal is changed depending on signals from a means detecting a forward road condition.
