PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output video/data, etc., imaged/created by external devices other than an interphone slave unit on an interphone master unit in a standby state. SOLUTION: Normal image outputting on the interphone master unit comprises a calling operation in which a speaker 24 of the interphone master unit 2 rings a ringing tone when a call button 10 of the interphone slave unit 1 is operated and video imaged by the camera 11 of the interphone slave unit is outputted on a color display 29 of the interphone master unit; an operation in which speech communication is established between a speech communicating part 14 of the interphone slave unit and a speech communicating part 30 of the interphone master unit; and a video monitor operation in which the video imaged by the camera is outputted on the color display when a video monitor button 25 of the interphone master unit is operated. In a standby state in which the respective operations are not active, the video/data, etc., which are transmitted from the external devices other than the interphone slave unit through a multifunctional video input terminal T2b, a multifunctional video changeover switch 27, and a video amplifier 28 are outputted on the color display.
