PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device thin by thinning a slide body which makes a recording/reproducing unit move vertically. SOLUTION: The tray 4 is arranged so as to be retractable in a chassis 1, and also the slide body 3 forming a cam part 37 which makes the recording/reproducing unit 5 move vertically is arranged at the lower side of a transition path of the tray 4. Between the slide body 3 and the tray 4, a cam mechanism is formed for making the slide body 3 move in the direction linked with a driving source just before the completion of the housing of the tray 4 and also for releasing the linkage between the slide body 3 and the driving source at the ejection of the tray 4. The cam mechanism is constituted of a projected wall 7 arranged on the lower surface of the tray 4 and protrusions 32, 33 holding the projected wall 7 between them on the slide body 3. The projected wall 7 is positioned at the side or the rear of the cam part 37 of the slide body 3 during the movement of the tray 4, and the protrusions 32, 33 are formed at the height equal to or lower than the cam part 37.
