PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring filter characteristics and a measuring device, which can measure the gain and the frequency response of an analog filter, such as equalizing filter, at a high speed. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of generating impulse signals, a step of applying, through a digital channel, the impulse signal to an electronic device to which the analog filter is internally mounted, and a step of measuring the gain and frequency characteristics of the analog filter internally mounted on the electronic device, using the output of the analog filter.
