PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side printer that enables single-side printing without using wasteful masters, can obtain prints with high image quality at the time of double-side printing, and prevents positional deviation of images on rear faces in a paper conveying direction. SOLUTION: The double-side printer 1 is provided with a printing part 2, a paper feeding part 4, a paper discharging part 6, a paper refeeding means 9 having an auxiliary tray 8, and a change-over member 10. The paper refeeding means 9 is equipped with an endless belt 8 for conveying surface-printed paper PA on the auxiliary tray 8 to a press roller 13 and a paper refeeding register roller 23 that enables displacement between a press-contact position and a separating position. A control means 129 that changes timing of press-contact of the paper refeeding register roller 23 with the press roller 13 (operating timing of a solenoid 33 at the time of press-contact of the paper refeeding register roller 23 with the press roller 13) in accordance with a rotational speed of a printing cylinder 12 is provided.
