PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling device and a PTP packaging machine which can surely fill an object to be filled such as a tablet into a pocket formed on a film irrespective of its shape. SOLUTION: The tablet 2 is supplied from a supply chute 28 to a storage pocket 23 formed on the outer peripheral surface of a rotary drum 22. The tablet 2 housed in the pocket 23 is sucked and held while protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum 22. The tablet 2 kept sucked is transferred below the rotary drum 22 as the drum 22 rotates and guided to enter the pocket 9 on a container film 10 carried at a constant speed. At a time point when the tablet 2 reaches the lowermost point of the rotary drum 22, the suction of the tablet 2 is canceled and at the same time the drum 22 is stopped. Thus the tablet 2 is brought into contact with the inner wall of the pocket 9. Therefore the tablet 2 is forced to drop and surely filled into the pocket 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
