PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door trim of an automobile having an arm rest capable of absorbing impact at the time of collision and capable of eliminating the possibility of damage or falling even if the impact is applied thereto accidentally in use. SOLUTION: An impact absorbing means 5 formed of a projection 5b of generally V-shape in cross section projectedly installed on the inner panel 2b side of a door 2, having one open end continuously fitted to a door trim body 1, and having the other open end continuously fitted to the arm rest 3 is installed at a continuously installed part between the door trim body 1 and the arm rest 3 in which the arm rest 3 is formed out of resin integrally with the door trim body 1. When an excessive impact is applied to the arm rest 3 when an automobile has a side collision, the projection line 5b of the impact absorbing means 5 is cut off at a ridge part 5a to absorb impact. When a strong impact is applied to the arm rest 3 accidentally from the side, the projection line 5b of the impact absorbing means 5 extends/retracts to absorb impact.
