The fixing system has a sealing ring (4) and a cuff (5) through which the sensor section (3) of the measuring device (1) is fitted, for depending into the medium container (2). The cuff has a reduced diameter section (6) of lesser diameter than the sealing ring and receives an adapter ring (7) enclosing the sensor section, having a reduced diameter section (8) for clamping the sealing ring.
