The motor vehicle rear light provides information regarding braking intensity and hence deceleration to following vehicles using a sequential arrangement of light signals in the third brake light up to form a definite brake signal image. The brake information is always connected with red light but changes from dark red to light red with increasing braking intensity. The brake light used is divided into two halves.
