The pedal-controlled auxiliary turn indicator has a device for controlling the flashing process by a foot movement applied to the gas pedal (1) by the driver of the vehicle. A short foot movement to the right or left causes a single flash and longer operation causes a sequence of 4 flash cycles. The electronic flashing process on one side can be stopped by activating the indicator on the other side.
