<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved attaching device for laterally rotational therapeutic bed 10 which makes access to a patient easier and facilitates connection/disconnection of patient care lines to/from a patient on the bed. <P>SOLUTION: This therapeutic bed is equipped with a base frame 16, a patient support platform 20 rotatably mounted on the base frame 16 for rotational movement about a longitudinal rotational axis of the platform, and a drive system for rotating the patient support platform 20 on the base frame 16. An upright end ring 22 equipped on the head end part of the bed is divided into an upper part and a lower part. The upper part is detachable from the lower part to facilitate improved access to the patient's head part so as to bring a patient onto a bed or down from the bed without detaching the patient care lines from the patient or from equipment to which the line is attached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
