<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pulse wave measuring equipment without damaging handiness of measurement which supports diagnoses by showing a doctor the feature quantity of pulse wave. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor 6 measures pressure pulse wave of a radial artery for non-invasion by press adjusting to a patient wrist in pressurization, and measures blood pressure at an arm band which is wrapped around the fixed part of the patient. CPU10 calculates the index reflecting the reflection phenomenon of pulse wave as biological information, which is different from blood pressure, from the measured pulse wave form, and it relates the measured blood pressure value and the calculated index and displays at an indicator 1B. A medical doctor grasps the condition of circulatory system which is shown in relation between blood pressure and the index of the patient in confirming the displayed content better, and information which becomes a support of diagnoses and prescriptions can be promptly obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
