<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film scanner configured such that the film scanner can properly extract defective information of a photo film even when the photo film is set inside out to a film carrier in mistake. <P>SOLUTION: A front back discrimination section 45 discriminates a state of the photo film F set to the film carrier FC, and when the discrimination 45 discriminates that the photo film F is set inside out to the film carrier FC, the film scanner applies focus adjustment to an optical lens 25 by an amount corresponding to information stored in advance in a data memory 41 so that image information of an image forming race of the photo film F is formed on a photoelectric conversion face of an infrared ray photo sensor 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
