<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC power supply arrangement in which the power consumption for cooling an inverter is suppressed to minimum while the operation of the inverter is assured for at least a prescribed hours. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter converges the DC power of a high voltage battery into an AC power for an accessory receptacle. A cooling fan is controlled for rotation according to an applied voltage to cool down the inverter. After the inverter is started for operation, the time lapse until an inverter temperature TH reaches an operation threshold temperature is estimated by referencing to a map which is stored in advance, based on the inverter temperature TH detected with a temperature sensor and its temperature variation ΔTH. After the inverter starts operation, it is discriminated whether the time period until the reaching time elapses is shorter than the operation guarantee time for the inverter. If the time period is shorter than the operation guarantee time, the voltage applied to the cooling fan is raised by a prescribed voltage to increase the rotational number of the cooling fan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
