<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the function of equipment only by inputting natural words without operation load. <P>SOLUTION: A paragraph extraction part 22 extracts a paragraph and further a word from an inputted natural text. A synonym dictionary 23 converts the word to a synonym and summarizes it to one meaning. A term dictionary 24 converts the word to a term according to printer function. A parameter conversion part 25 converts the term obtained in the term dictionary 24 to a parameter.
