<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life-saving device capable of being put in the service condition quickly and certainly and involving no difficulty to conduct works even if one put on the device. <P>SOLUTION: The life-saving device has an air chamber 11 equipped with two arm-shaped parts 111 inserted under the armpits of the person applicable and a coupling part 112 to couple one-side ends of the arm-shaped parts when the device is inflated and a belt 4 to be put on the waist of the person located at the ends of the arm-shaped parts or near the ends. Because of the waist porch type as put on the waist, it does not constitute any obstacle for the works on board.
