<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent early full load detection on a paper delivery tray by shifting the stapled position of a sheet sheaf in the delivery direction to stack it on the paper delivery tray. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet handling device has an intermediate roller 3 for conveying sheets; a first tray 4 for stacking a sheet sheaf comprising a plurality of sheets conveyed by the intermediate roller 3; a side adjusting member 6 for adjusting both side edge parts in an orthogonal direction of the sheet conveying direction of the sheet sheaf stacked on the first tray 4; a stapler 15 for carrying out stapling treatment to the sheet sheaf adjusted by the side adjusting member 6; a sheaf delivery roller 5 for conveying the sheet sheaf stapled by the stapler 15; a second tray 7 for stacking the sheet sheaf conveyed by the sheaf delivery roller 5; and a CPU 14 for shifting the stacked position of the sheet sheaf stacked on the second tray 7 in the sheet conveying direction to control stacking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
