ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image developing toner excellent in stability of a fixed state and transparency in the case of printing on paper for OHP (overhead projector), and to provide a method for manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of internally adding silicone oil to a binder resin-colorant mixture and kneading these and a step of pulverizing and classifying a composition obtained by the kneading step. The internal addition of the silicone oil improves transparency and fixability, and toner using a polyolefin resin having a cyclic structure as a binder resin is put to practical use.
