PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping material which is suitable for housing or wrapping medical goods or the like such as a tablet, a capsule or the like, enhances discrimination, through a colored resin layer, of description on a surface of the tablet or the like or description on a surface of an aluminum foil integrated into one body on the resin layer and can be used for a blister or the like, and to provide its effective manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The wrapping material is formed of a polyolefin and has a colored resin layer. In the preferable embodiments of the wrapping material, the resin layer is formed of a colored polyolefin film, Brightness L of the colored polyolefin-made film by a transmitting type measurement is not less than 40, and the polyolefin is preferably a mode of polypropylene.
