PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize high-temperature water flowing from a bypass passage 44 toward a return passage 46 when heaters 50 and 60 are operated. SOLUTION: This hot water supply type heating device is provided with a flow switch 48 to detect flow of fluid in a secondary side fluid circuit 40 at a closer part to the heaters 50 and 60 than the bypass passage 44, and a throttle valve 47 to limit flow of the bypass passage 44. When flow is detected by the flow switch 48, flow in the bypass passage 44 is limited by the throttle valve 47. When flow is not detected by the flow switch 48, the throttle valve 47 is released to open the bypass passage 44. When the heaters 50 and 60 are operated, flow in the bypass passage 44 can be limited by the throttle valve 47 to minimize high-temperature water flowing from the bypass passage 44 toward the return passage 46. Temperature of hot water returning to an unillustrated hot water storage tank in a primary side hot water circuit 30 can be lowered, and a coefficient of performance (COP) when a heat source device to store hot water in the hot water storage tank in boiling can be improved.
