PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly respond to variation in the attribute items of services designable as retrieval conditions. SOLUTION: An attribute item information management part 45 collects attribute item information, in which attribute names, etc. are set for retrieving service for each of service classifications, from servers in the same sub-network 2 and other service retrieval devices, and maintains/manages the information in an attribute item information database 48. An attribute item notice part 44 refers to the database 48, and thereby acquiring a list of attribute items describable as retrieval conditions in a retrieval expression in response to a retrieval request from a client, and making a reply thereto. A service retrieval part 43 performs service retrieval based on a retrieval expression in which an attribute item selected by a user from among the list of attribute items is designated, and replies a list of service information that is a retrieval result.
