PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal data leakage preventing device which prevents personal data from being leaked when information equipment provided with a communicating means for performing communication through a communication path supplied by a communication path provider is stolen or lost and enables an authorized user to use the personal data when the stolen or lost information equipment is returned to the authorized user. SOLUTION: A customer management center 10 registers a telephone number stop application from the authorized user of a terminal 30, and then makes the authorized user to transmit the personal data stored in the terminal 30 to store the personal data and instructs the authorized user to eliminate the personal data stored in the terminal 30 when the customer management center 10 receives a connection request from the terminal 30 before a telephone number stop release application from the authorized user of the terminal 30.
