PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which is capable of suppressing variations in performance of products and has excellent vibrating characteristics by preventing vibration leakage of a piezoelectric vibrating piece, even if the device is formed so as to be small, and to provide a cellular phone device and electronic equipment employing the piezoelectric device. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device is provided with a piezoelectric vibrating piece 32 having a pair of vibrating arms 34, 35 extending in parallel from a base 51, and having long grooves 90, 90 extending along a longitudinal direction toward each of the pair of vibrating arms; and a package 36 for housing the piezoelectric vibrating piece 32 in its inside by supporting and fixing a part of the base 51 via adhesives 43.
