PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and economic method and device for pseudo-granulating raw material for sintering to manufacture sintered raw material suitable for sintered ore. SOLUTION: When performing pseudo-granulation by charging iron-containing raw materials 5 in a rotary mixer 3, pseudo-granulation is performed by projecting additionally-charged sub raw material 11 from a discharge port 4 of a rotary mixer. The additional charging range of the sub raw material is 1/4 to 1/12 of the total length of the rotary mixer from the discharge port out of a rear end portion of the rotary mixer, and the additionally-charged sub raw material is projected into the rotary mixer by an additional conveyor 10 provided close to the discharge port of the rotary mixer.
