<p>The method involves transmitting data over a preset sequence of multiple channels, each operating with a preset bandwidth. A reception passband having a bandwidth that equals the preset bandwidth is provided. The preset sequence is captured by effectively sweeping the preset transmission spectrum relative to the passband at a sufficient rate to acquire the data. The data from the captured channels is extracted. An independent claim is also included for a radio receiver to receive data carried by a radio frequency signal in a sequence of frequency hopping transmission channels within a preset transmission spectrum.</p> |
