Method for preparing amino acids (AA) in transgenic organisms by introducing and expressing a nucleic acid (I) that: (a) encodes a protein (II) able to degrade Thr and/or Lys; or (b) increases degradation of Thr and/or Lys in the organism, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) nucleic acid construct (A) containing (I) functionally linked to one or more regulatory sequences; (2) vector that contains (I) or (A); (3) transgenic prokaryotic or eukaryotic organisms (B) containing at least one (I), (A) or the vector of (2); and (4) eight specified sequences (IIa) of 376, 115, 127, 147, 169, 362, 106 and 104 amino acids (all reproduced). |
