PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a glass lamp shade is provided to produce a unique atmosphere by forming an opal glass layer on a center of the glass lamp shade having a triple structure. CONSTITUTION: A ball-shaped internal glass layer is formed by using a slender bamboo tube. An opal glass layer is formed by coating a melted opal glass material on a surface of the ball-shaped internal glass layer. A pattern is formed on a surface of the opal glass layer. An external glass layer is formed by coating a melted crystal glass material on the surface of the opal glass layer. A surface of the external glass is processed within a smoothly patterned mold. The remaining stress is removed by performing an annealing process. A cutting process is performed and the cut part is polished.
