PURPOSE: A door lock apparatus is provided which enables a child to use it smoothly by pushing or pulling a handle of the door with weak power. CONSTITUTION: The door lock apparatus opens and closes a door(15) from a door frame by operating handles installed in the door. A door lock body(50) has a housing(54) having latch bolt insertion hole(52), and a spring support wall(56) formed in the latch bolt insertion hole, and a hinge groove(58) and an operation lever(64) hinged to the cross section of a side wall(60) and recovered by the spring. A latch bolt(70) has a pair of hinge axes(72) and a cutting hole and a pressing surface(76) and a circular arc(78). An operation rod(80) is inserted to the cutting hole of the latch bolt, and has an operation piece(82) and a load part(84) supported by the operation lever of the door lock body. And a spring(90) is inserted to the load part of the operation rod and pushes the operation rod to the latch bolt.
