PURPOSE: An undergarment having a waistband portion containing a non-stretch band portion and a stretch band portion is provided. It does not impart an oppressive sensation to the abdomen, is excellent in wearing feeling when worn and enhances human health. CONSTITUTION: In the process for making an undergarment by sewing a flexible rubber band along a peripheral portion of underwear(1) which are in contact with the waist of a body, a rubber band having stretchability is sewn to a band portion(10) at a position which is in contact with the abdomen after contraction. The rubber band also is sewn to the band portion after stretching without cutting the rubber band. Therefore, a non-stretch band portion(12) and a stretch band portion(11) are formed on the band portion. A plurality of permanent magnetics can be attached on the interior of the non-stretch band portion. |
