PURPOSE: A method and a system for recoding macros as independent syntax to a computer language to record the macros are provided to reduce a time for generating the macro in multiple computer languages by converting the macro into a source code of multiple computer languages. CONSTITUTION: An application(117) includes a macro library(120), a VSA(Visual Studio Application) sub system(125) including a VSA recorder(175), and/or a VBA(Visual Basic Application) sub system(130) including a VBA recorder(170). The macro library includes a processor(135) and a macro recorder engine(140). The macro recorder engine includes a recorder(145), a builder(150), a command list(155), a verifier(160), and a variable map(165). A user interface(105) is connected to a server(110) through a computer network. The user interface provides a user with a tool for communicating with the server, a database(115), and the application.
