PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately obtain more geographical information by splitting a map display screen and displaying a map with different information thereon at the same time. SOLUTION: When division of a display screen is selected (step SB10), a screen splitting processing is executed (step SB12). A forward part of a route is displayed (step SB18) or whole remaining routes are displayed (step SB22) on a second screen which is one of the split screens. On the other hand, on a third screen, the map which was displayed before splitting is displayed (step SB14). Then, other guidance and display processing are executed (step SB8). |
