Plastic lid for a container

The plastic lid (1) for a can has an originality seal (5) for an opening (10) in the can and which is pressed into the can to free the opening. The originality seal is connected to the lid by a film hinge (6). The seal consists of a material which differs from that of the can and is especially a different plastic. The plastic lid has a rotatable disc (2) to close off and free the opening. The originality seal has a protruding edge (8) for contact with the underside of the lid. An end face undercut (7) is provided in the originality seal in transition to the protruding edge to hold the lid in a locked position.
