摘要 PURPOSE: A method is provided which uses the manufactured titania and zirconia as adsorbent for removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), catalyst for photocatalytic reaction and combustion catalyst support for removing the VOCs by manufacturing titania and zirconia in a fiber or woven cloth shape, and its application method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of cleaning the dried activated carbon material using alcohol after drying an activated carbon material to a temperature of 60 to 200 deg.C; a step of fixing titanium onto the surface of the activated carbon material by putting the dried and cleaned activated carbon material into an alcohol into which one or more of compounds selected from titanium tetrachloride, titanium methoxide, titanium ethoxide, titanium propoxide, titanium butoxide and zirconium alkoxide are dissolved; and a step of firing the dried transition metal fixed activated carbon material, thereby removing activated carbon, wherein the activated carbon material is activated carbon powder, molded activated carbon, activated carbon fiber or activated carbon cloth, wherein a fixed quantity of titanium is 2 to 30 wt.% for the total weight of the activated carbon material, wherein a fixed quantity of zirconia is 2 to 30 wt.% for the total weight of the activated carbon material, and wherein porosity inside the titania fiber is controlled by controlling firing temperature of activated carbon to 300 to 900 deg.C.
