PURPOSE: An excise monitoring system which monitors whether user excises or not and controls the operation of the displayer according to the monitored state is provided, thereby improving effect of exercise. CONSTITUTION: The excise monitoring system comprises: a fitness instrument; a remote controller for monitoring a movement of user or an operation of the fitness instrument to generate control signal according to the monitored state; and a displayer operated according to the control signal from the remote controller. The displayer is turned on when user is exercising so that user enjoys excising while viewing a program on the displayer.
