The furniture set e.g. tables has two supports (1,2) including a hydraulic unit each and respective shelves (6) rotatably mounted on the supports. The hydraulic units with a rotor and piston (14) are coupled with fluid hoses (3,4) for hydraulic fluid e.g. oil, passage. The rotation of a shelf operates the respective hydraulic unit as a pump, and the other hydraulic unit as motor to rotate the respective shelf.
