APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING UPLINK DATA RETRANSMISSION REQUEST IN CDMA

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving an uplink data retransmission request in CDMA are provided to support HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Retransmission Request) for uplink data by puncturing a data field in a DPDCH(Dedicated Physical Data Channel) and transmitting ACK or NACK information for the uplink data therein. CONSTITUTION: A Node B determines the number of transmission times of ACK or NACK information for uplink data during one TTI(Transmission Time Interval) in an initial set-up with a UE(1001). The Node B receives uplink packet data through a EUDCH(Enhanced Uplink Dedicated Channel) and determines whether the data is normal(1002). The Node B determines whether to transmit ACK or NACK information(1003). The Node B generates a DL DPCH data packet to be transmitted(1004). The Node B determines a position for transmitting the ACK or NACK information in the field of the DL(DownLink) DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel) data(1005). The Node B punctures corresponding bits at the determined position, inserts the ACK or NACK information and transmits it to the UE(1006).
