FIELD: medicine, surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should apply the main suture being perpendicular to bronchial axis. Additionally, one should apply P-shaped sutures being parallel to bronchial axial line in area of circular cartilage behind the stump's main suture. In peculiar case, one should apply rare P-shaped sutures tightening both anterior and posterior walls of the main bronchus at intervals providing the safety of stump's circulation.
