FIELD: hydraulic machine building; hydraulic turbines and pumps-turbines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed suction tube of hydraulic turbine consists of inlet diffuser, elbow and outlet diffuser, cross sections of elbow being flat closed curves whose shape from inlet section of elbow to its outlet section gradually extends in direction perpendicular to plane of turn. Streamlined surface of elbow is made as linear surface, and said closed curves are smooth being close to round ones at elbow inlet section and oval in direction of flow. Streamlined surface of outlet diffuser in suction tube of hydraulic turbine can also be made as linear surface. Cross sections of streamlined surface of elbow can be made elliptical. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency at restoration of static pressure and, as a result, increased efficiency of hydraulic turbine. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
