The use of a synergistic, orally administered, non-solid composition (I) is claimed for improving the efficacy of plant extracts. (I) Comprises (A) plant extracts, (B) at least two of vitamins A, B2, B9 and E and (C) at least two minerals or trace elements selected from magnesium, zinc, copper and selenium, for stimulating cellular metabolism. An Independent claim is included for a combination of (I) with an excipient acceptable in foodstuffs.
